How Are Crumpets Made?


Our Process 

Our crumpets are packed with only the highest quality all organic ingredients.

Our specially selected trio of flours, not only enhances the flavour and texture of the crumpets, but enhances the health qualities too. Our sourdough starter is lovingly maintained and cared for every day, after all its what gives our crumpets their unique flavour and rise.

The mix ferments for a full 24 hours and a few final touches are added before the batter hits the rings, bubbling in ghee, on our hotplate. These babies are not easy to produce but each one is lovingly uncloaked from its ring and flipped for a final touch of colour on the bubbly top.

Then they are hand packed & paired with our favourite homemade curd & delivered to your door or local market.
